Huawei FreeBuds 5

Image
The Huawei FreeBuds 5 are a complete rethinking of the FreeBuds design language, with a rather unique look compared to the rest of the true wireless competition. It’s not just a fashion choice either, with a comfortable open-ear fit, impressive audio performance and handy smarts. It’s just a shame the battery life dwindles so much when the (not quite successful) ANC is active.  Pros Unique, stylish design Superbly comfortable fit Impressive sound performance Cons Middling battery life AI Life app can be difficult to install on Android ANC doesn’t make much of a difference Availability UK RRP: £139.99 USA unavailable Europe RRP: €159.99 Key Features Unique design Sports a unique design that separates them from the rest of the competition Impressive bass performance Ultra Magnetic driver that aims to deliver deep bass Fast charging tech Two hours of use from a 5 minute charge Introduction The Huawei FreeBuds 5 don’t look anything like the...

So, is this still up there with the best iPad options like the iPad Pro M4 and iPad Mini 7 ? Advertisement Screen Two size options: 11 and 13-inch No OLED upgrade Brigh...

Apple iPad Mini 7 (2024) Review: Enough of an upgrade?

Image
iPad Mini 7 being held in hand There isn’t a better small tablet on the market than the iPad Mini 7. Apple’s latest dinky slate might not be a huge upgrade if you picked up the previous model, but its fast internals and support for the forthcoming Apple intelligence still make it a worthy buy. Pros Compact and portable No more 64GB option A good amount of power Cons No change to front camera placement No support for certain older accessories Key Features Apple Intelligence Support for Apple’s AI system when it officially launches thanks to the A17 Pro chipset and 8GB memory Apple Pencil Pro support The iPad Mini 7 works with the same Apple Pencil Pro as the iPad Pro Introduction Released without much fanfare, the iPad Mini 7 brings Apple Intelligence to the brand’s smallest tablet. Well, perhaps I should rephrase that – it will bring Apple Intelligence to the brand’s smallest tablet when Apple’s first attempt at AI finally gets its full release late...
