Ausounds AU-Stream Hybrid

Image
Ausounds is – in the UK at least – a lesser known audio brand that popped up onto our radar late 2020 with the release of its AU-Stream Hybrid wireless earbuds. The LA-based outfit has been making a name for itself in the audiophile area, embracing a lifestyle aesthetic as well as focus on accurate music reproduction. Normally we’d feel a tinge of sympathy for a brand going up against the likes of Bose, Grado and Sony, but the Ausounds have enough talent to suggest it warrants consideration among the true wireless upper echelon . Ausounds AU-Stream Hybrid price and availability The Ausounds AU-Stream went on sale in the UK in December for £199.95, and you can find them online at Richer Sounds and iamaudio . Elsewhere they cost $189.95 / CA$279.99 / AU$299. A European release is due summer 2021. JLab Epic Air ANC

If you’re on the hunt for an affordable pair of earbuds with no shortage of features, JLab’s Epic Air ANC will certainly catch your eye. The true wireless pairs are the most expensive from US audio brand JLab, but they pack more than enough features to justify their £100 price. While it isn’t uncommon to spot a lower-end pair of earbuds with support for wireless charging or even ANC, JLab takes its skillset a step further, promising perks such as a 48-hour battery, wear-detect sensors and even a Movie Mode for those who like watching flicks on the small screen. But, with so many features, can the true wireless earbuds offer quality to accompany that quantity? Read on to find out how our experience with the Epic Air ANC fared. JLab Epic Air ANC price and availability For £99.99 / $99 / €119.99, the Epic Air ANC offers a greater number of features than many of JLab’s higher-priced rivals. However, the most important factor here is how those features perform. JLab Epic Air ANC desi

Galaxy Buds Pro Review – Samsung's latest AirPod rivals impress

Image
The Galaxy Buds Pro are Samsung’s latest true wireless earbuds, sitting at the top of their wireless earbud tree. The buds aim to entice buyers away from the competition by offering listeners “the most intelligent” ANC ( active noise cancellation ) on the market, AKG-tuned audio and gym-ready IPX78 water-resistance . After a month testing the earbuds as my primary workout and day-to-day set, I can confirm the Pro are the best Galaxy Buds ever. They’ll be a solid option for most buyers, especially if you own a Samsung Galaxy S21 phone. But a few niggling issues with their fit and touch controls stop them from achieving true perfection. Here’s why. Galaxy Buds Pro design Similar charge case to the Galaxy Buds Live, but the earbuds have actual ear-tips IPX78 water-resistance makes them one of the most rugged around Opening up my review unit’s packaging, I was treated to a charge case familiar in design to the Galaxy Buds Live . Square in shape, there’s a single USB-C charge inpu
